Hurricane Relief Efforts
August 29 - December 6
LowCountry Community Church knows what this looks and feels like. This is our chance to be able to give back and care for those that need it most now, like we were so well cared for last year when Hurricane Matthew hit our area. There are a couple of ways you can help:
- Donate Walmart, Lowe’s, or Home Depot gift cards in $25 increments that the volunteer teams will take and give to the local churches affected by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma to help address immediate needs for clothing, food, and to rebuild.
- Volunteer your time and join a team who will go and be the hands and feet of Jesus in the areas that were directly impacted by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma. If you are interested in joining a team, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Consider donating directly to Samaritan’s Purse.
- Donate to Low Country Area Hurricane Relief for Puerto Rico and Caribbean by donating the following items: baby food (no bottles), baby formula, diapers (adults & kids), disposable face masks, disposable gloves, vinegar for cleaning and cooking, feminine hygiene products. These donations can be brought to LCC on Sundays. To learn more about the Low Country Area Hurricane Relief for Puerto Rico and Caribbean visit their website.
Please continue to pray for all of those impacted by this very serious storm and for everyone that will be helping with the relief efforts.
