43rd Annual Daufuskie Island Day Celebration, June 22, Daufuskie Island, S.C.
Your whole family will enjoy this Gullah homecoming with arts and crafts, food vendors, storytellers, games, island tours, and entertainment! The boat to Daufuskie Island will depart from Broad Creek Marina, 18 Simmons Rd., Hilton Head, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tickets are $40.
Hilton Head Island Music Festival, June 22-23, Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn, Hilton Head Island, S.C. You don’t want to miss this two-day festival featuring a wide range of music from rock to blues and from reggae to funk. A two-day pass is $59. Children 12 and under get in for free. Shelter Cove Fireworks, July 4, 9, 16, 23, 30, Aug. 6, 13, 2, Hilton Head Island, S.C.
Have dinner at your favorite Shelter Cove restaurant and then stay for the fireworks! Happening each Tuesday throughout the summer (weather permitting), the fireworks at Shelter Cove have become a Hilton Head tradition.
Beaufort Water Festival, July 11-21, Beaufort, S.C.
Check out Beaufort’s biggest annual festival, featuring music, fireworks, sports tournaments, water races, arts and crafts market, shrimp boat tours, parade, air show and parade of boats. Some events are free, admission for other events varies.
7th Annual Savannah VOICE Festival, August 3-25, Savannah, Ga.
There is something for everyone at this music festival which returns to venue stages throughout Savannah. Enjoy music from a variety of genres including opera, Broadway, as well as a tribute to Frank Sinatra. Some festival events will be free with other events offering tickets from $25-$75.
