Write your bio in three sentences:
I’ve been married since 2017 to my beautiful wife Jessie! I’ve been playing drums since I was 11 years old and have an ever-growing passion for worship music. I love people and building relationships, and I can’t watch a movie without Peanut Butter M&Ms!
What’s the weirdest or most interesting job you have ever had:
I worked for a video production company in Georgia, and our office was located at a major soundstage lot. Several large studios filmed big movies there, and it was really cool to hear of the famous names that were on the lot, learn the code names behind different movies, and see film sets come to life on the big screen!
What job would you like to have if you were not working in ministry?
The video industry was a lot of fun, I got to travel to some really cool places and meet many talented people!
Where is your favorite place to be?
I love being near water, particularly a beach, lake or in a hot tub!
What is your favorite book?
It’s hard to choose a favorite. I’m currently reading “Business Made Simple” by Donald Miller and can’t get enough of it!
What is your favorite movie?
“Avengers: Endgame”
What kind of music do you listen to?
My go-to is worship music, and I love anything that has a good rhythm; lately, it’s been pop music.
What is your favorite food?
Mexican food
What is your favorite thing about living in the Lowcountry?
I love living near the beach, and my wife and I enjoy the great deals at the Tanger Outlets!
What is your favorite Bible verse and why?
It’s difficult to choose just one! Most recently, it’s been John 3:17: “For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”
Our society is fixated on the idea of who can and can’t judge, and Christians are often associated with judging and condemning others. Jesus reveals the heart of the Father and speaks incredible truth here that God does not delight in condemnation, but desires that we be rescued from it through salvation in Jesus!
Briefly tell us about your role at LCC:
I help execute the vision of the Creative Arts team, implement systems that streamline the creative process across our departments, and help guide new Creative Arts volunteers through the process of how to serve with our team!
How have you seen or experienced God at work in your ministry?
It never gets old to see how the Lord can impact others through the creative elements of a service that our team and volunteers have worked hard on and prepared for!
What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
I can solve a Rubik’s Cube in one minute!
