Bring the whole family out for the free kick-off event featuring photos with Santa, live music, free snow cones, and the official lighting of the “Light The LowCountry Trail!” Then enjoy the trail every weekend in December from 5:00-9:00pm rain, shine, or even snow!

 

The “Light The LowCountry Light Trail” is a beacon of the bright joy of Christmas; of the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. The Bible foretells His arrival saying, “For a child will be born to us, a Son will be given to us.” Jesus is described as a “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace.” His first coming brought light, hope, and joy into the world, and Christians worldwide celebrate this moment every year at Christmas with numerous customs and traditions. Some traditions are well-known around the world, while others are only recognized within local communities and families. Strolling down the “Light The LowCountry” light trail during the Christmas season is quickly becoming a new tradition for families all over the lowcountry. Each weekend in December, and every day from December 23-31, the “Light The LowCountry Light Trail” will be open to the community from 5:00-9:00pm. Invite your friends and loved ones to spend an evening commemorating and celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.
