Jesus Is Praying For You
Is it possible for someone who has been justified to be condemned again due to sin?
Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1, NASB
Who is the one who condemns?
Christ Jesus is He who died…
…yes, rather who was raised,
He who was delivered over because of our transgressions, and was raised because of our justification. Romans 4:25, NASB
Justification
Justification means to have your sins forgiven so that God’s honor and integrity are preserved by it.
Kitchen Table Theology, episode #54
…who is at the right hand of God,
“…but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God…” Hebrews 10:12, NASB
…who also intercedes for us.
“…He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.” Hebrews 7:25, NASB
Jesus is the only One who has the right to condemn.
Jesus’ position of authority stresses the effectiveness of His intercession.
Jesus intercedes for us until we are secure with Him in eternity.
