The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman.
With this nation more divided than ever, now is the time to come together and pray for the nation’s leaders and families at Bluffton’s Annual National Day of Prayer, May 2nd, 6:00pm, at Oscar Frazier Park. Bring your entire family and invite a friend to this.
LCC is joining with several area churches (St. Andrew By-The-Sea Bluffton, First Zion Missionary Baptist, Cornerstone, Campbell AME, and Lord of Life) to provide this free community event. Bring the whole family and invite a friend for an awesome night of praise, prayer, and free food.
